The mission of The Met Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is to prepare high school students to be successful in college and in life by engaging them in the rigorous study of entrepreneurship. The goal of the program is to create the best entrepreneurship program in the country for high school students.

The Met is a network of six small, public high schools located in Providence and Newport, RI. The Met’s individualized learning approach has proven successful in unlocking students’ passion for learning. The Met empowers its students to take charge of their learning, to become responsible citizens and life-long learners. The hallmarks of a Met education include internships, individual learning plans, advisory, and a breakthrough college transition program.

This partnership with Senesco Marine gives students access and in-depth knowledge of the working areas of a shipyard so they can potentially have a career in the field if it interests them after graduation.
